Solidarian race APPI
Last Sunday, September 29, the V Edition of the SOLIDARIAN RACE organized by APPI (Associació D’Empresaris De Parcs I Polígons Industrials -Ribera Baixa-) and the Almussafes Town Hall took place at the Juan Carlos I Industrial Park.
Nearly a thousand runners together with the solidarity of dozens of people who bought the dorsal zero and the contribution of the Ford company managed to raise more than 10,240 euros in the V Solidarity Race. The money will be distributed among two associations that contribute to raising funds for the investigation of two rare diseases: the National Pulmonary Hypertension Association and the STXBP1 Syndrome Association.
At 10.00 the starting point of the 5 and 10 kilometer competitions was given for the nearly one thousand runners, most of them, workers of the polygon. Both competitive tests ran mostly by the polygon Juan Carlos I of Almussafes.
In order to promote the participation of our employees in this type of sporting and solidarity events, the company paid the registration and invited to a lunch at the end of the race.
PINCASA’s best time was for Pedro Romero with 41:05 in the 10K race (absolute 31 position) and for Francisco Risco with 26:26 in the 5K modality (absolute 33 position). Congratulations!!!!!
